Embrace your age

When people found out I was getting divorced in my 40s, their predictions were grim.  "Better find somebody new and settle down, you don't want to grow old alone."  "What do you mean you're taking that trip by yourself?  That's so scary."  Society treats women in midlife like they are ready to be put out to pasture.  The Gray Mare rejects that idea by celebrating all the wonderful, amazing things women can do and learn after they're told they're "too old."
